Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and it is a great time to make crafts for the people we love.  Homemade Valentine cards are more personal and a great way to get the kids involved.  My oldest is 2.5 years old and is getting more and more into art.  Most of the time we pull out all of the paint and glue, but sometimes you just need something simple to keep toddlers entertained.  This craft doesn’t need a lot of adult supervision and I like to put all of the supplies in my lucite organizer so she can see everything.  That way she can pick and choose what stickers and pom poms she wants to put on the cards.

Supplies:

large foam hearts
assorted pom poms
pipe cleaners
assorted small foam stickers
glue
small bowl

* I got all of my supplies at the Target bargain section in the front of the store.  Unfortunately, they can not be purchased online.  I did find similar items if your an online shopper! *

Tips and Tricks:

  • I put all of the supplies in this lucite organizer.  All of the supplies are easy to see and my toddler can get as creative as she wants.  I also change out the crafts depending on the holiday or time of year.
  • I put a small amount of glue in a bowl that she can dab the pom poms in, rather than using the bottle.  She has trouble holding and squeezing it.
