Space Sensory Bin

Space Sensory Bin

We are working on a Space Theme this week and I wanted to create a quick sensory bin for the kids. I used a base of black beans, added a few other Space themed things, and resin letters I made for my kids to practice the alphabet.

We used these Space Montessori cards found here and had the kids match up the planets or figures. I then had my middle daughter match up the letters that each card started with. They also enjoyed burying each item in the black beans and then finding it.

Supplies

  • dried black beans
  • plastic bin
  • Space figurines
  • planets (I printed 2 copies of this printable and glued them back to back, then laminated)
  • Homemade Resin letters
