Ice Cream Shop Pretend Play

Ice Cream Shop Pretend Play

I have seen other people create pretend ice cream activities for their kids and it really inspired me to create my own. My kids have been patiently waiting for me to finish this over the past month and were so excited to play once it was finished. I created free printouts I am sharing with my readers. All you have to do is sign up for my email list below. Most of the things I used in the set up I already owned or I bought from the dollar store. You can purchase any of the items linked below if you want to create a similar set up. You can also keep this super simple using a kid sized table and whatever bowls, etc. you already own.

How to Create a Pretend Ice Cream Shop

  • crumple assorted tissue paper and put into bowls by color
  • use red pom poms for cherries
  • fill a squirt bottle or any bottle with brown pom poms for the chocolate syrup
  • roll paper towel rolls into cones and glue
  • set out bowls and spoons, scoop
  • print and laminate (optional) free prints below

I hope you and your family enjoy this as much as mine do. Please tag me if you end up using the print outs, I love to see how you create your own set up!
