For those of you who live in colder climates, you understand what we are going through over here. We are right in the middle of winter and FREEZING! I always drink warm liquids to stay warm and hot chocolate is my drink of choice. Below are my three favorite homemade hot chocolate recipes. My husband even contributed his favorite coconut hot chocolate recipe.
Tips:
- For a healthier option : Substitute cacao powder for cocoa powder. It will taste a little more bitter, but is still great!
- You can use any dairy or non-dairy milk.
- Substitute real whipped cream for coconut whipped cream if you eat dairy. I used this recipe for my coconut whipped cream.
