DIY Powder Laundry Detergent

DIY Powder Laundry Detergent

This past year I have been trying to pay attention the amount of plastic we use in our family. I try to avoid buying plastic items in general, but I also know all of our household items come in plastic. Items like laundry detergent. Yes, I buy the most non toxic detergent I can afford, but it comes in a huge plastic jug. I have been slowly switching over my household products to companies that make their containers out of glass/metal/paper and recycled plastics. The best way for me to reduce my carbon footprint and know it is non toxic is to make my own products. So when I found this 3 ingredient, plastic free, and super easy to make laundry detergent recipe, I was hooked! I got this exact recipe from Zero Waste California, check it out here.
