DIY Felt Turkey Activity

DIY Felt Turkey Activity

As many of you probably know by now, I am big into the felt activities for my kids. It’s the perfect way to celebrate a holiday while they use their fine motor skills and imagination. This DIY is simple and might take a little bit of your time, but you can use it for years to come. Also I like to make it a Thankful Turkey, an idea I got from Busy Toddler (can be found here). Most nights in November my family and I write down what we are thankful for on a feather I cut out of construction paper. I then put a Velcro piece on the back and let my kids add the feathers to the turkey. I save them every year so we can look back at how much the kids’ answers change as they get older. It’s an amazing tradition and I highly recommend it for families!
