Bento Box

It’s that time of year, back to school; I wanted to post about the hottest Bento Box trend.  My daughters are too young for school and I am very lucky to be able to stay home with them, so we do not need to pack lunches very often.  Whenever we go on a day trip or my toddler goes to her grandparents for the day, I always pack her a lunch.  I think it is so important to provide healthy options for children, but sometimes they have a mind of their own.  That’s when LunchBots Bento Boxcomes in handy.  They sell multiple different size boxes with 1-5 sections and my personal favorite is the Bento Cinco.  It allows me to pack a variety of foods and hope my daughter will actually eat one or two options!  An added bonus is the reduced waste a bento box provides.  There is no need to buy plastic sandwich bags, etc.  This one is dishwasher safe and comes in multiple different colors.  As my youngest gets older and eats more solid foods, I plan to get her own so they can have color coded bento boxes with the coordinating lunch bags.  It is also made of stainless steel so there aren’t any chemicals leaching into the food.  I wish I knew about these when I was in the corporate world.  I always packed a super heavy lunch with my multiple different glass containers when all I needed was a divided bento box!
