Leprechaun Stew

Leprechaun Stew

This Leprechaun Stew is a great counting activity for young children. I originally got this idea from Pockets of Preschool during Halloween. My kids LOVED her Witch’s Brew activity, so I thought I might make something similar for St. Patrick’s Day. My kids enjoyed making the “stew” and I liked that they were learning at the same time. I bought most of these St. Patrick’s Day items from the Dollar Store and I made the horseshoes and rainbows. I hope your family enjoys this as much as we did!

Supplies

  • FREE leprechaun printable, see below to get your download
  • gold coins
  • gold pipe cleaners formed into a horseshoe
  • colored beads with white pipe cleaner to make a rainbow
  • cauldron
  • Leprechaun boots, these are in the printable, just laminate and cut them out.
  • Leprechaun hats I found at the Dollar Store
