I am always searching for new and delicious snacks that are actually healthy and my toddler will eat. I found a recipe similar to this one and made some of my own tweaks. My daughter can’t get enough of them and I am happy knowing how nutritious they are and convenient to pack when we leave the house. Hope you Enjoy them as much as we do!
Peanut Butter Balls
Healthy and Nutritious Snack
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup honey *
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (creamy)
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed (optional)
- 1/8 cup chocolate chips
- 1/8 cup cacao nibs **
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- *you can substitute agave nectar for honey
- **if you don't have cacao nibs substitute more chocolate chips
Directions
- Step 1 Combine all ingredients.
- Step 2 Roll into balls.
- Step 3 Refrigerate to set.
