Post Office Pretend Play

Post Office Pretend Play

This is a super easy and fun activity that doesn’t require too much set up. I printed and laminated these free alphabet upper/lowercase letter and stamp match (found here) printables. I added velcro dots to the letter and stamp so my kids could match them up and they would actually stick together. Then they “delivered” their mail around the house in my make shift mailboxes out off recycled tissue boxes. I cut the top off and wrote numbers on the sides to help with number recognition as well. They are not the most beautiful to look at, but my kids love it and that’s really all that matters. I see a DIY in my future to really dress them up! I also cut out a piece of construction paper, wrote MAIL on it and safety pined it to bags we already owned so they each had their own mail bags. Hope you and your kids enjoy this activity as much as we did!
